A Merchandise Planner ensures the financial direction of the product strategy. Making sure that each and every store has enough [of the right] stock, at the right sizes.They work very closely with the Merchandise Buyer, because they plan and manage how the buyer spends the budget. Essentially, they control the budget and manage the supply chain, as well as analyse how merchandise is performing across all the stores, across all seasons. A Trend Forecaster sets the steps in motion for the buying process, informing the buyer as to what’s going to become a best seller in the market. They need to be experts in what is happening on the international scene, by working at the forefront of the retail fashion industry, while travelling internationally to London, New York and Paris in order to view the latest trends in world fashion.

Getting to the bottom of things and having an inquiring mind is what drives the people in our Auditing Department. If you have an analytical mind, are a great problem-solver and don’t mind a little number crunching, then Audit is where you need to be.

As an Auditor, you will be responsible for performing and documenting risk-based internal audits, drafting internal audit reports and presenting audit findings to relevant management in accordance with specified standards. These positions are based at either our Head Office or in our stores across the country.
There are also opportunities within the Quality Department, who are responsible for auditing the quality of stock and packaging delivered to the depot.

Every day, you’ll work closely with graphic designers and flash developers while you design, manage and update over 7 divisional websites.

We are unique in the way that the Systems team also singlehandedly runs I.T. initiatives on numerous events such as all the timings and registration for the Comrades marathon or filming and live streaming of the Mr Price Pro to over 4 million viewers. We are also becoming very active across various social media platforms.
